Central Location: Raleigh, NC

Pet’s Name: Maya

If you could be a dog, what type of dog would you be and why: “A golden retriever and husky mix, like my dog. The golden in her is loveable, eager to please, loves cuddling, sleeps all day but the other half of the time, she is sassy, independent, hyper, and does whatever she wants! That’s the best of both worlds.”

One furavorite memory with an animal: “Running 5K’s with Maya – I do not enjoy running but I will participate in any 5K where I can bring Maya! It’s fun to run with her.”

Favorite thing about bringing pets to weddings: “Weddings are already ‘AWW’ but introducing a pet introduces an greater ‘AWW’ factor. I love seeing photos of just how goofy or happy the pets are and the reaction of the humans! Pets are family and it makes sense to have them by your side on such a special day, without any stress!”

Ashley Kuligowski

Central Location: Somerset, NJ

Pet’s Name: Maximus Kuligowski

If you could be a dog, what type of dog would you be and why: “This won’t be a surprise but an English Bulldog! I would love for people to encourage me to be a couch potato 24/7 🙂 “

One furavorite memory with an animal: “Honestly, celebrating our wedding day with Max being a huge part of it is one my favorite memories. He is our best friend and we could not imagine going through the day without him. It was so fun to have him by our side while getting ready, taking pictures, and during the ceremony. We even did a first look with Max which was very special! I think he was just as excited about the day as we were.”

Favorite thing about bringing pets to weddings: “Seeing the joy on people’s faces that their pup could be a part of one of the most important days of their life!”

Brittany Boomers

Central Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Pet’s Name: Rocky & Brody

If you could be a dog, what type of dog would you be and why: “Pomeranian – energetic and playful, small enough to be a lap dog (I would want ALL the cuddles), fluffy, and extroverted!”

One furavorite memory with an animal: “Getting my dogs and watching them grow and change. Our “cuddler” we got at the farm doesn’t even like to cuddle!”

Favorite thing about bringing pets to weddings: “Who doesn’t love to see a dog?! Always gets an “aw” and a great pic.”

Cristiana Milner

Riley was a happy, intelligent, adventurous and super loving fur baby of ours who loved car rides to the beach, frisbee playtime in the yard and loved chasing fireflies around- hence the name ‘Riley Bug!’ He was magical in every way!”

Favorite thing about bringing pets to weddings: “Sweetly witnessing the purest form of joy and complete happiness once the lovely couple and their fur baby lock eyes! Nothing beats the excited tail wags and wiggles on such a beautiful day!”

Pet’s Names: 2 crazy labs named Freddie and Hunter

If you could be a dog, what type of dog would you be & why: “I think that I would be a lab! Like my self, they love people, other dogs, exploring everything, Eating everything and have SO much energy but they also dont mind curling up with you on the couch!”

One favorite memory with an animal: “My dog Freddie was the only dog in our house for 2 years, but then we got Hunter and it has been a competition for my attention ever since. So in the beginning of March I decided that Fred and I needed a trip with out our other side-kick Hunter. So I decided to take him up to the beach on the North Sore of Massachusetts. I knew that they allowed dogs in the offseason but had never gone. From the second we got there Freddie was in his element! Digging in the sand, rolling in the sand, smelling the ocean, running in to the ocean, making new people friends and making new dog friends. He was so good! And my favorite part was even though out of all the fun he was having he would always look back or run back to me to make sure I was still there and having just as much fun as he was!”

Favorite thing about bringing pets to weddings: “I love that people include their pets in their weddings because to me our pets are our family! And we invite our family to weddings and that should include our dogs! Oh and I also love the dogs can be unpredictable which makes for a great blooper and a laugh!”

Pet’s Names: Torchy & Spudley

If you could be a dog, what type of dog would you be & why: “Any mixed breed dog so I could continue to prove the awesomeness of rescuing!”

One favorite memory with an animal: “In 2015, I walked into Austin Pets Alive looking for a puppy – not just any puppy, but my first ever rescue. I walked past several cages, all of which had adorable options in them, until I came to a cage with one little 9 week old puppy who was a beautiful rich brown color with white markings. She was sitting there looking up at me with her big brown eyes like she knew me. As soon as I made eye contact with her, she lifted her little white-tipped paw and put it on the cage. I knew immediately I had to hold her and as soon as I did, she licked my cheek. That was it – decision made. I was meant to be her mommy, and she was coming home with me to be my best friend. I have never felt a more instant connection.”

Favorite thing about bringing pets to weddings: “Pets bring out the best in people. I love the idea of a couple looking back years from now and remembering the things their dog(s) did on their wedding day to make them smile.”
